AIA Certified Education System Provider

Air Masters Corporation is a Certified AIA Continuing Education System (CES) educational program provider. The AIA Continuing Education System is a thriving, multifaceted, lifelong professional development program and the largest source of education specifically targeted to the design and building industry.

AIA Registered Architect members must accrue 18 hours of approved continuing education each year. Of those 18 hours, at least 12 must be on Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) and at least 4 hours must be on the topics relating to sustainable design (SD).

Southern Illinois Chapter of Healthcare Engineers

Gary Conrad has been selected to be a guest speaker for the Southern Illinois Chapter of Healthcare Engineers.

Mr. Conrad’s presentation is titled “Why is it raining in my surgery?”, and will address humidity control for the demanding need of colder surgery suites.

Gary Conrad Selected as IFMA Guest Speaker

The International Facility Managers Association (IFMA) has selected Gary Conrad of Air Masters Corporation to be a guest educational speaker at their 2012 conference. Mr. Conrad will address the topic of “Managing Indoor Air Quality in Commercial Buildings”.

Session Description:
Building Managers and their maintenance staff are charged with operating and maintaining building mechanical systems and protecting the occupants and assets of the building. This presentation increases their understanding of the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of how buildings function and the interrelationships between various facets of a buildings use and life cycle. It is a logical step to combine their current talents with a broadened understanding of the many factors now known to impact thermal and air quality in a building. The end result is a Building Manager and maintenance staff that can maximize the quality of the indoor environment in today’s competitive office space market.

Mr. Conrad is Vice President – Contracting with Air Masters and possess 40 plus years of professional experience in the Design and Construction, service and maintaining of commercial office buildings.

Pedal the Cause

Gary Tidwell of Air Masters joins team Tarlton in support of Pedal the Cause, Oct. 1-2, 2011.

Founded in 2009, Pedal the Cause has the goal of creating a community-wide cycling fundraising challenge in which all donations raised will stay in St. Louis to provide direct funding for cancer research, cancer discovery grants and clinical translational care not currently eligible for federal funds.
